Summer's over and a parade of Hollywood parents shared proud, teary and funny first-day photos as their kids head back to school this year. From kindergarten bows to college goodbyes, stars including Usher, Jessica Alba, Sheryl Crow and many more marked milestones — with tattoos, moving days and last hikes. Senior send-offs and college moves

Jessica Alba marked eldest Honor's move to Yale with matching tattoos. Jamie Lynn Spears watched Maddie head to the University of Southern Mississippi for softball while Ivey began third grade. Kyle Richards' daughter Farrah helped move sister Portia into the University of Colorado Boulder. Lara Spencer prepared a 14-hour mother-daughter drive as Katharine begins her senior year. Buddy Valastro's sons started school in Syracuse (Buddy entering his last year, Marco a sophomore). Chris Noth shared a final hike with son Orion before college. Richard Blais sent daughter Riley to Indiana University Bloomington.
